Our first language is actually energy.
Our bodies use life force energy.
They vibrate to vibrational energy.
The planet functions using energy.
Our bodies can be healed and held using energy.
We can tap into energy and we can create energy.
We can have an awakening of Kundalini energy.
We can respond to other people’s energy and the energy of places and objects.
I invite you into this awe inspiring world of energy.
My name is Shelley and for years I’ve been working with the energy of sound, of touch, the energetic Bars which run through our heads and exploring the life force energy of our bodies and how that can be created and used in life.
Sound Journeys and Sound Healing using Gongs, Bowls and other magical instruments.
I have always been a musician and have always connected to the energy of sound. A few years ago I started to explore the energy of sound in a deeper and more specific way. I started to discover how dynamically sound can effect our bodies and our brains and how sound with good intention can so positively effect our physical, mental and spiritual states.
I started to learn about sound healing with Charlie Christie and alongside my work as a professional pianist with a thriving teaching practice I started to work with Nepalese Singing Bowls, Gongs and a variety of other instruments to help people come to greater peace in their minds and their bodies - release, relaxation and restoration on all levels.
Every sound journey that you experience is different - you will go to different places, experience different feelings and sensations, gain wisdom and insights which aid your healing and hopefully, access deep rest. In the Alpha and Theta brainwave states, the many systems of our bodies can restore to a more balanced state.
Through studying and experiencing sound healing with many different sound healers and sound journeymen including shamanic practitioners I have developed my abilities to be in tune with the sounds and energies and work in an intuitive and sensitive way. 1:1 sessions are deeply personal and I listen with great awareness to the way the instruments are sounding around your physical and energetic bodies. Many times we don’t know that something needs to be released until it is and we can look back and recognise that it feels good to have it released and this is what often happens in a sound session. In my experience the depth of the frequency of sound brings on a radical internal honesty which can be totally involuntary and unexpected. Ultimately, releasing and restoring is a good thing for our bodies and minds.
